What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
The best thing to happen to me was getting accepted into my top pick universities. This was the best thing to happen to me because I am the first person out of my family to go to a four-year university on a full-ride academic scholarship.
What is your favorite part about being a woman?
My favorite part of being a woman is the sense of togetherness in the woman community. No matter what woman I come in contact with I always find something in common that we share and we lift each other up.
Who is your favorite role model?
My role model is my mother. She raised my brother, sister, and I by herself. She is my hero and I am glad I have such a strong and independent person to look up to.
What is your dream in life?
My dream in life is to be the best version of myself and being an epidemiologist.
Are you following your dream?
Yes, I am following my dream, however, it has it’s difficulties. I am attending college to become an epidemiologist but I have struggled with finding the balance between working hard in school and giving myself a break to focus on myself to become a better version of myself.
Have you ever been published in a print or digital magazine before?
No.
What’s your favorite clothing brand / store?
I personally like Fashion Nova; they always have new and trendy items.
What is your “happy place”?
My happy place is with my best friends. Anywhere I go with them I’m happy; they make me feel loved and special. They’re amazing.
What’s most important to you?
My family is the most important thing to me. Everything I do is for my family and they’re relying on me for a lot. They’re always there for me and I would never trade them for anything in the world.
What’s the worst line a guy has ever used on you?
The worst line a guy used on me is, “ahh ma, you got a big head. Come be my bobblehead.” I can’t make this up.
What is your dream car?
My dream car as of right now is a pearl white Infiniti G37 coupe. I want the windows to be tinted with black rims.
Have you ever traveled out of your home country?
I have not, but my friends and I are planning a trip to Punta Cana next year!
Are you a tom-boy, girly-girl, or both?
I am both. I enjoy wearing sweatpants and oversized hoodies somedays, but I am definitely not a stranger to makeup and dressing up.
Do you have a favorite Kardashian sister?
Yes, my favorite Kardashian-Jenner sister is Kylie Jenner. She’s a businesswoman with a beautiful family and she gets her stuff done. She around the same age as me and given she does have a prominent family, she still made her own brand and made a name for herself.
Have you ever gotten plastic surgery?
No. I don’t think I would want to get any plastic surgery but I am not against anyone who gets it. It’s just not for me.
What do you want to be remembered as?
I want to be remembered as that woman that rose above and accomplished her dream against all odds.
