What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?

I haven’t lived very long so it’s hard to say what the best thing that ever happened to me would be, but maybe it would be the day I graduated from college because I knew after that day I would never have to go to school again.

For real I did have a lot of fun in high school and college and it was a very fulfilling day to finally say I’ve accomplished something important and substantial in life but I also absolutely hated being a student and I would never go back! It was like that day was when I was released from a 17 year sentence.

What is your favorite part about being a woman?

My favorite part about being a woman is kind of just that, being a woman. Have I ever contemplated what it would be like to be a man? How much easier certain things would be, of course!

But, I personally love wearing dresses, and putting on makeup, and having smooth hairless skin far too much to ever trade it.

The best part about being a woman for me is being pretty, and small, and feminine, and high heels! I couldn’t have any of those things if I was a man.

Neutrals all the time

Who is your favorite role model?

I follow a lot of bloggers and celebrities and people in general but I would have to say my favorite right now is @LaurenElizabeth.

She is a major role model for me because one, she is so relatable, she gets down and dirty and tells you not only about the glamorous parts of her life but the sucky ones as well.

She does so, so many things from blogging, to acting, to designing, to putting out her own lines of home goods and clothing she is really inspiring and one day I would like to be half as successful as she is today.

What is your dream in life?

My dream in life would probably be that similar to anyone else stuck in the 9-5. I would like to be traveling and blogging and living a little bit more than I do.

I would like to have more time to myself and to spend with those around me. It doesn’t sound like a lot but right now it somehow seems distant.

Are you following your dream?

I would say I’m following my dreams on a small scale. I think a lot of people consider following a dream to be giving up everything and diving in head first but I do write a blog and I post all my fashion on my Instagram page.

I also work full time in fashion so even though I am tied down to a job at least it’s doing what I love.

Dreams take time to achieve and if you work hard and stick with them one day they might come true but until then we all just have to keep grinding.

Have you ever been published in a print or digital magazine before?

I was interviewed once for an app called @Relov but other than that no! So this opportunity is really exciting for me!

What’s your favorite clothing brand / store?

Picking one favorite clothing brand is really hard because I definitely like to scope out my options and I do a lot of shopping around but a couple of favorites of mine as of late would probably have to be Missy Empire and XLE the label.

Missy always has such cutting edge, trendy pieces it’s hard not to buy everything on their website. They are also very affordable which is super important to me because fast fashion is kind of a disease and I have fallen ill, I buy everything I see its terrible.

XLE the label is actually the line of Lauren Elizabeth who I spoke about earlier. I absolutely am obsessed with this line because everything I have ever bought from it I loved!! It’s again so affordable, its such nice quality for the price, its fashionable, its staples, everything you need in your closet is what she designs and I am sold.

If you haven’t checked either of these sites out I highly recommend!

On this freezing day I’m wishing I was back in Florida

What is your “happy place”?

Having grown up on an island the beach is 100% my happy place. I could be angry beyond repair but the minute my toes hit the sand all my worries wash away.

There is nothing like sitting in a beach chair in front of the ocean, listening to the waves and forgetting that anything else exists for a few hours. And the winter doesn’t keep me away, I love bundling up and taking my dog for a walk in the sand. There is no other place like it in the world.

What’s most important to you?

The most important thing to me right now is working hard to accomplish goals so that I can secure a nice future for myself and those in it.

What’s the worst line a guy has ever used on you?

The worst pick up line a guy ever used on me would probably have to be the first time I ever went out with my now boyfriend. We were at a party, we were dancing, he had a full beer in his hand and he dumped it on my head on purpose. Not exactly a pick up line but I did think it was the worst. I guess it worked because we’ve been dating ever since, going on 5 years.

How this weather makes me feel

What is your dream car?

I honestly hate driving myself around it took me the longest time to get my driver’s license because I was just a tense wreck behind the wheel so I’d have to say any car that comes with a driver I would love!

Have you ever traveled out of your home country?

I’ve been out of the country a few times. I went to Mexico years ago, I’ve been to Bermuda, the Bahamas, typical vacation spots but I would have to say Aruba was one of my favorites… clear blue Caribbean seas, beautiful beaches, nice city area – it was a very pleasant experience.

I would really like to go to Europe though, Italy, Greece, Spain, France. Send me to where the fashion happens!

Are you a tom-boy, girly-girl, or both?

I would definitely say I’m a girly girl. I love dressing up and wearing high heels, doing my makeup and hair. Although I do like the keep my style a little edgy I am not a tomboy I’m very girly at heart.

Do you have a favorite Kardashian sister?

I used to love the Kardashians as a teenager my favorite was always changing.

I liked Khloe a lot because she was always seemingly real about issues like if there was a ridiculous situation going on she would kind of just tell it like it was a be like get over yourselves which I appreciated.

But I don’t really keep up with the sisters anymore I don’t have to time to watch TV like I used to unfortunately.

Have you ever gotten plastic surgery?

I have never gotten plastic surgery but I am totally not against it! At this point in my life it’s totally not affordable but if I had the cash I would definitely be in the chair getting some very subtle lip fillers!!

On the other hand I also don’t endorse changing yourself I think it’s a little bit of an epidemic in this day and age young girls feeling they need to be a certain way to look good but I say if something has always bothered you, if you look in the mirror every day and say I hate that fix it!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with helping yourself feel good in your own skin as long as you don’t go overboard with it I say go for it.

What do you want to be remembered as?

Well at the thing I do best in life is my fashion so I guess I would like to be remembered as super fashionable!!
